My visit to the Farm in Chewelah, Wa.

“Gotta tell ya it was fun! Hiking with the humans, running around the farm, getting to know the sheep, cows and chickens, no restrictions on where I could run! What more could an old dog ask for? Well, hiking for hours, chasing sticks in the woods, strange sounds in the woods (what was that!?), getting to meet new people (guess they were neighbors), did I mention chasing sticks? Romping in the creek(ok, the humans were not so happy with that but hey, I am a dog!) was fun too. Great place for a dog vacation and I really think the humans had as nice a time as I did. 👍 says Summit the 🐕.”

Yes, we’re dog friendly…but

We are dog-friendly but ask that you not leave your pet unattended unless crate trained. Guests are responsible to clean up after their pet and for all pet-related damages. Our hens are free range and roam the property around the Farmhouse and barn, while the livestock are rotationally grazed throughout the farm with electric fencing. Dogs must not chase our farm animals or wildlife because this is their home and environment. We also have our own dog Bailee that loves people but is protective of the hens, livestock and Clyde, our barn cat!
